Massage For Cellulite

Cellulite is the medical term for lumpy, dimpled flesh that appears primarily on the thighs, buttocks, hips and stomach.
Approximately 80% of women over 20 years will get cellulite.

Fat pushes through the connective tissue (fascia) beneath the skin, causing a rippled appearance.

Although there isn’t a permanent solution to banishing the orange peel effect, massage can do wonders to improve it. Massage will speed up the circulation which will improve the appearance of the skin and improve the overall texture and tone.

Unlike other hand held cellulite massagers, which can be very tiring to use, the Mitts cover your hands preventing your hands from tiring.
Massage the superficial fascial to increase, tissue flexibility, hydration, and oxygenation in the dermis, hypodermis and subcutaneous fat to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Stimulating blood flow and lymphatic drainage will also reduce the effects of tissue congestion that can also cause pain.

Massage will soften, hydrate and oxygenate the issue transforming your skin tone and texture and making you more comfortable in your own skin.
Soften the appearance of cellulite, reduce symptoms of restless leg, tired aching muscles, pain and improve circulation with the easy to use self-massage Mitts.

Unlike any other products they come as a pair, so you can easy massage all contours of your body from all directions.

  • Professional Self-Massage Mitts, simple to use in your own home to form part of your daily skin care routine.
  • Use in the shower with your usual hair and body products, or for best results use with massage oil.
  • Rub massage oil over the legs, then rub the oil over your hands so the mitts slide easily on.
  • Use at least three times a week, but may be used daily.

Pregnant women, people with heart conditions, or who use blood thinners, or have any type of skin condition from varicose veins to eczema are not advised to use such massagers.

Gentle head, face and neck massage with the professional massage mitts may help to reduce muscle and fascial tension in the face and jaw to conservatively reduce the effective of TMJ/TMD pain.

Temporomandibular disorder (TMD) is a term used for a group of Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions that involve the Temporomandibular joint (TMJ).

Common signs and symptoms –

• Increased pain with jaw activity, e.g. chewing
• Limited mouth opening
• TMJ sounds, eg. Clicking noises

People with TMD more often than not have other pain conditions. TMD may commonly be associated with –

• Emotional stress
• Nocturnal bruxism
• Poor posture
• Day time oral habits
• Facial trauma

Tension often accumulates in the head, neck and upper back; massage with the mitts can be helpful in reducing muscular tension and aches which often cause physical and emotional stress. Improving circulation and lymphatic drainage will stimulate the body’s self-healing and self-regulating physiological responses.

Use in the shower as part of your usual shower routine, self-massage with oil for a longer lasting effect. Maybe get someone else to massage you, it’s more relaxing.
